Well, what can I say about the Margaritaville DM2000 Premium Frozen Concoction Maker? It is not a normal blender, which is true. You can use it as a normal blender though and it will give you perfect smoothies. So, if you are a smoothie lover, like me, you will also love this machine.

So, why do we not think about smoothies a bit? I always wonder where this addiction to smoothies started. When I grew up we had plain old milkshakes and that was it. Now it is smoothies all the time! You play the ice in the ice compartment on top of the machine and it shaves the exact right amount of ice into your drink. Well, this is really a good idea. So often you do not know how much ice is going to be needed to get just the fight consistency, now all you need to do is set it right and it comes out perfect.

OK, so now you can turn your "smoothie" into an "ice drink" by letting the machine shave some ice into your smoothie while you are making it! I know, maybe for those of you that have winter at the moment it does not sound so nice, but in summer, imagine the cool "icy" smoothie you can have when you get home hot and tired.
